What this profile is for.
Kömmerling 88 Centre Seal is the premium 88 mm window platform in the Kömmerling PVC-U range. ECOWIN uses it when the project calls for a stronger thermal envelope, quiet indoor comfort and a clean European profile appearance without moving into aluminum.
The centre-seal layout adds a third sealing level between the outside weather seal and the interior seal. In practical terms, that helps the window resist wind, rain and sound while giving the glass package a stable base for Canadian temperature swings.
For colder rooms, north-facing elevations and larger fixed/tilt-turn openings, this system can be paired with a warm two-chamber insulating glass unit, warm edge spacer technology and carefully planned installation tapes or membranes.
